OK OK I'll update

My roomies are home for Easter, what does that mean? I can decide when I want to go to sleep. That’s right no waiting until 1:00a.m. for some hot guy to leave. Dance Dance Furby Dance. Anyway I think that my project thing went well... but I can't tell. I have another project to worry about now. Just a reminder, the sky blue, the moon not blue. Thank you.

Bloggers Paradise Gone

Sara, in my Paradise link has stopped updating. We will take a moment of silence now….

I wonder what I well eat for dinner tonight. We will take a moment of silence now…

I wander why hobbits are so hairy. Can anyone explain this to me?

OWWWWW I want some

Listening to the Phantom. Oh what a voice. Much better then that Joshie. My sisters are at a cafe, but not me because I was off reading when they called. I want coffee. My roommate has a hot guy over and they are talking about cutting up dead bodies (they work at a morgue.) So I have my big headphones on, while re-reading something I have to write a paper on. Oh here comes the part where the opera starts cursing.

I danced around a volcanic gerbil, and went into the dangerous terminal

I have recently discovered that my mother has managed to find my site from some unknown force. So this post will be not go over a PG rating because you know I always do. How can this be managed on the web? Watch and learn first off start out with the cute and cuddly.

Because there is nothing more PG then a half naked man riding a white tiger. Don't believe me? Well, watch Disney's Tarzan.

I smell pizza

I smell the sweet smell of pizza, I think I am going to go check if it is free.... NO, I must stay here and wait for an important AIM.

Here I sit

Here I sit, a marker car soars across the windows, the leaves lay unprotected my the snow, the wind once again can torment them, artwork hangs over my head, a soft leather sofa cushions my soar back, I wait for the phone to rang, the clock slowly clicks away unheard but overly felt, in a moment a bird catches my eye, when in focus I see a leaf dancing on the ground, my hands are chilled, my hair is clean, my shoes changed from blue to purple to day, I have clothe dye splattered across my face, my coat is red, I have gone from the outside to the inside, the next step would be to became profound, I take a moment in meditation, my mind blank, my eyes looking at nothing, I do not want to dive into the deeper pool, it is much earlier to describe the surface, I am not tired, my eyes are sour, I have to scan in some artwork, I am waiting for a call, I am waiting for an instant message, I am thinking about sending an e-mail. Yes that is what I will do!

Dance Furby Dance

I have been known to say this at random times of the day. Perhaps it is my bitterness from having my Furby destroyed by toilet water. I perhaps I think it is cute nonetheless here is proof that Furby’s do say Dance Furby Dance. Well I was close…Too see Furby Dancing...

Here are some extra dancers. I recommend…
Jesus

The bush-gore dance (Gore is so going to win)

Leprechaun Dance (Something tells me the music isn’t coming for this site.)

I like to eat do you

So I worked on my 'big project' today, all the while a bag of cheese puffs sat by my side. I am not sure how many I ate, but it wasn't just a few. For those waiting for my big post, the one with Ben and Jerry's, I will torture you some more. You have no idea know what I would have posted on the day I was too sick to post, and you just have to wait to find out. Will you wait forever in vein? I had to watch 160 episodes of InuYasha, and they still haven’t put together the jewel, but I continue to watch waiting to closure. The power of closure might to be the key to the jewel. (I have no idea what I am talking about.) I also think that Fluffy’s (i.e. Sesshoumaru featured in Cat Heaven) big boa is his father’s tail. I will be quite upset if the boa is never explained. You can’t just have a major character walking around with big white boa, and not explain it. RIGHT? Right.

Easy/Hard Week

It turns out the reason I couldn’t focus yesterday was because my body was beginning to tell me I need to lay down because I had the beginning of a head cold. (I blame this on Media depredation. That means that today I am too sleepy to do a good posting. (I had something good including Ben & Jerry’s planed, but now you can forever wonder what it would have been about.)

P.S. I tried a new flavor of Ben and Jerry’s yesterday, Fossil Fuel. I wish they didn’t always run out of my favorite, Phish Food. If I have something other then Phish Food then can not enjoy it as much because I spend the time wishing that the store had not been out of that heavenly caramel filled treat. I do want to try Chocolate Therapy. It’s the reason I eat Ben & Jerry’s. (Sisters don’t look around the site and post what I am planning. I know you will otherwise, because we think alike.)

Still can't focus

I think that I will go grab some Ben and Jerry's. Just think of it sweet Ice in a warm dorm, while the temperature outside is so cold it could cut you. Here is another of my pieces so you can understand that I have a range in style.
P.S. Do not use any of my images without a link. If you plan on changing it (a lot) then I will think of it as a scissor art (Show me it so can be amazed by your ability). If you only change it a little (For example, if you copy and flip and rotate it until it is a complete circle then we have to talk.) Please do not make me have to revoke this entry. (My sister is going to tell me to right away.)

Fine print
(One of the reasons that I want to see your scissor art is you I can be sure that your definition of it isn’t to liberal. I will be fair when deciding, and will ask others opinions if it is on the boundary between scissor at and to similar to the original. I am art an art school, and will be able to find plenty of fair opinions. It is true that I would enjoy seeing the results, but I do not have the acclaim of some artists, and have to watch my back. If you do not abide by this system then I do not give my consent to the use of my artwork.)

I hate it when dreams come true

I did do the portrait piece wrong. It could be any possible medium, but it also had to be 2-D. Its okay though, because creating a 2-D piece will be at lot easier then finishing the one I have now. Little Debbie's anyone. I should be working on that 2-D piece right now, but I am sleepy. Therefore, I am taking a short break. That brings the count of dreams coming true to three times in my lifetime. I haven’t posted any picture for a while so enjoy this work of art.The image “http://images.buzznet.com/assets/users6/wolfdragon17/default/msg-1110324703-2.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

Always fun

Its always fun taking your fragile incomplete work to the art school. Nothing is like that moment on the bus when someone's book bag rams into your work. (It didn’t break.) People give you those all to common, "What are you thinking?” looks. Then, I get to the art school, and the looks change to smiles. Perhaps they remember transporting fragile work on crowded buses. Now I have to wait. I had a dream last night that my Prof. told me I had done the project all wrong, and would have to start over. I was surprised in the dream, because I had thought that my stick yarn thingy was a good idea. What if it was a sign?

Sticks and Yarn may build a barn, but that will never help me

I have been working all day. I went to three classes, picked up sticks, picked up yarn, and used them to build the beginning of an art project that has been an itch in my back for the past month. So far I've tried to make connect, failed. Then tried again, only to fail. I finally made connect, but now I have to do the art part. Right now my grand plan looks something like Gypsy moths attacked a floral arrangement of tree branches. It’s sitting by me right now. It smells like pine. I think that people will like it, but I have some explaining to do. First off I have to explain why there are no people in this double portrait, then how I transitioned from picture frame with a hole in middle too what I have now. (I wanted to try something new. In fact, I really don’t want to add portraits at all.) I have some planning to do. I might be able to get out of using pictures if I present my work in progress the right way. Then again, if I add the pictures in just the right way… I am trying to remember how I envisioned it before. Ah, yes… that would take a lot of work. It might be too much to do it that way…

The End of the Media Fast

I never want to do a Media Fast again. It was fine the first few hours. I walked through a park trying not to look at the signs. I saw water filled with pieces of scaly ice. Saw the dramatic shadows tree cast across the snow in the pre-afternoon light, and later a single leaf blowing across a barren landscape. I played sticks (we couldn’t call it Pooh sticks because Pooh is so Media), and sat on a bench looking out at the river. Then, my time at the park was up, and I had to go avoid Media at a media union. I did some preparation for my classes starting up after Spring Break in a simple study room. I tried not to look at the advertisement on my pen. I really did. I also tried not to look at the coffee cup when my sister brought me tea. Later, I went with my sister and helped stripe part of her ceiling. I could not get online to check my grades. I could not check for important e-mails. I was cut off from the world unable to open my eyes when driven through media filled areas (which was everywhere). I wondered what it would like to be blind. I tried to feel how fast the car was going, and not to think media thoughts. I tried. Today was the first day in a long time I’ve thought of McDonalds. In short, I failed at my Media Fast, but the assignment said nothing about succeeding. It can be argued that one of the only ways to avoid Media would be to stand naked in the middle of a wood. For some reason I was unwilling to do this.

My long time addiction Dogs, Lupes, and Things that go Meow in the Night

The image “http://images.buzznet.com/assets/users6/wolfdragon17/default/msg-1110062354-2.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.I have done it. After much painful web browsing I have finally found a Yorkie Scuba Diving. What you don’t think it’s a Yorkie? So you’re a dog expert now, eh? Can you offer me proof that this isn’t a picture of an oversized Yorkie taking a very salty bath? I didn’t think so.

The image “http://images.buzznet.com/assets/users6/wolfdragon17/default/msg-1110065126-2.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.I am Wolfdragon17. I have been Wolfdragon17 since before I was 17. I discovered this name when I was creating a Neopets account way back before they had a magazine, and stuff at Limited Too. I have played the game on and off for years. Amassing huge sums of wealth, realizing how pointless it is to sit on Neopoints, then giving it all away to random people. I was there in the days when everyone cheated to get ahead, and the days when everyone wanted the first limited edition pet (I think this was the first). I was there when it was easy to get your artwork posted, but I didn’t know how, and easy to get stuff at shops. Now my childhood game is everywhere, and I wish I hadn’t given away all my points, and put my old pets up for adoption for others to enjoy. Why? So, I could sit on top of my wealth like a dragon, my own value increased by its increasing value. P.S. The picture is a Lupe.

http://www.itsonlyamovie.co.uk/coverscansC.htmThis is just cool. I do not know why.

Another direction for a nonblog.

This is not a blog. Do not expect Shakespeare, do not expect Rubens, for these people are six feet under and I cannot communicate with the dead. (I can communicate with goldfish, but this does me no good because they can only hold three second conversations.)
If this is not a blog then what is it? I do not know. I do not like definitions. They are things teachers make you memorize. Teachers tell you that you can know for certain what something is, but then you go out in the world and realize that there are no lines. Do not try to define me… do not define yourself.

Whoever likes this direction please raise their hands. (That means comment.) I wonder if anyone, other then my family, has visited this site yet. I do not know how to check unique visits in Blogger. So comments are my only way to tell. You, my imagined audience, quite possibility could be a stone wall. That is good, because then I don’t have to offer you cookies and tea.

Why do you leave the Getty Images logo?

I am not being lazy when I leave Getty Images on photos. I want it to be clear that I did not take the picture. When I use pictures from another site I will always include a link. To me the little logo in the corner or the link is someone's badge of honor, and who among us would erase someone’s name to serve their own purpose.

The Media Fast

As an art student occasionally a really bizarre assignment comes my way. Tomorrow I am going on a 12-hour media fast. In order to do a media fast one must remove themselves from all forms of media. Media includes TV, images, advertisements, music, books, and (according to some people) religion. In short, I am hanging out in the park then doing schoolwork in a small room, and who knows what. No, sleeping does not count. I am doomed.

The importance of Sulfur

The image “http://images.buzznet.com/assets/users6/wolfdragon17/default/msg-1109976956-2.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.
Images shape our identity. While music is designed to speak to the soul, images tend to be superficial. Few are those who can look into the soul. We see, we want, but we do not understand. That which we look at changes us in the looking, so that what we see is seen in a new light. (Inspired by The Object Stares Back, Elkins)

The importance of Sulfur is found in its compounds.

“The salt, sodium thiosulfate, Na2 S2O3·5H2O, commonly called hypo, is used in photography for “fixing” negatives and prints.” (Encarta.com)

Perhaps it is the fixation of images teaches us our first lesson in how to look into the soul. This fixation of time enables us to see what we filter out in everyday life. It teaches us look closer. Before, the invention of the photograph such fixation was only possible for artists. With the invention of the photograph the common man/woman is now able to give his/herself a lesson in see the soul.

(This is just an example of one of the many directions that this Blog could go. The other direction being endless posts about cats, dogs, and scuba. Who votes for this style?)

Whats in a blog?

This is my first Blog. I feel I need to explain myself.

For years I have been hearing about Blogs from my sister, Rachel, who just deleted her old Blog taxi.bigredgiant.com. Sara, another of my sisters has just entered the blogging world with Sam's Paradise. I concluded that we could make the biggest dent if we supported each other (Rachel has also been telling me I need a Blog for all those years. I figured why @#$#ing not.).

I know Blogger really isn’t the best site for web design, but I plan on using it until I get a better site up and running. Don’t worry. I am an artist, and I will not switch over until my site is as appealing as Dove Chocolate.

Will I get the to point? Yes, the point is I need to figure out what the point of Blogging is. Please comment, and explain to me what I am trying to do.

Reading is so out of date

Snowdays

I really should be reading more of my homework, but I have already read for five hours today. FIVE hours. (And five hours is nothing when compared to the time I spend re-reading before exams.) My focus is gone. Its spring break, and I find myself unable to work. My big art project is due in 2 weeks (yes I am in art school, and yes I will post some of my art in the future). I feel it approaching like the plague. I cannot focus any more. I need a picture to go with this post.

Still looking for a Yorkie scuba diving. You may think that it is impossible, but look at what I have found so far. (A kitty that knows how to catch her own tuna!)

Here is a link to a lovely amine kitty site that I have always planed on linking to if I had a blog. The site speaks for itself; it is beautiful, creative, and funny. A must see for any lover of anime.

The cat held by the crazy lady in red has her own webpage on catster be sure to check her out. I could tell you about a crazy Thanksgiving Day in which this kitty was content to be held (so her little paws didn't have to touch the snow), but I will let you imagine without the confines of reality.

Site Rules (for self)

1) Sulfur must be interesting.

2) I will not post about my fascination with cardboard boxes (unless it is a really cute little box).

3) To mix fact and fiction in a concoction that is guaranteed to confuse.

4) Find photo of Yorkies scuba diving.
